Olympus continues to support scientists in their quest for knowledge about living cells with three new high-performance TIRF objectives.
The P100 gauge & Hand Held Pumps is an instrument that offers pressure calibration in an easy to use design with ranges up to 1000 bar.
Quality Systems International Corporation has introduced VersaLIMS.NET, a modular self-contained Laboratory Data Management System (LDMS) designed to deliver the level of data management required for small to medium sized labs.
Jetter expanded their highest-level of the JetWeb controller series by the new JetControl 940MC. It has been mainly developed for applications comprising a great number of motion systems for quick cycles and high dynamics.
Infolytica Corporation announced that a new release of MagNet version 7 will be available in mid-spring 2010. This update will enable users to simulate the magnetization of a permanent magnet, expand on MagNet's multi-core support, and include other new features.
VI Systems GmbH introduced the A25-120C VCSEL (vertical cavity surface emitting laser) driver integrated circuit for optical data transmission. This VCSEL driver chip is designed for the use in high speed optical transceivers with serial data rates of 25 Gbit/s and 28 Gbit/s.
Applied Thermal Control has introduced the X10 Mini-Loop Heat exchanger, which uses facility-water to cool one side of the heat exchanger, while de-ionized water (or a coolant of choice) on the second side is used to cool the application.

I typically attend the annual Pittsburgh Conference on Analytical Chemistry and Applied Spectroscopy each year in pursuit of specific coverage. This year, I sought out candidates for coverage in a vacuum technology article, and pulled together some instruments for a spectroscopy guide. But as busy as that kept me, it wasn’t all mass spectrometers and vacuum pumps on the show floor.
